Hi everyone!
My name is Nikos, and I’m a second-year Master’s student in International and European Union Law. This will be my fifth year living in Rotterdam!
I enjoy going to the cinema, concerts, cooking, and spending time with friends. I’m also into embroidery, board games, techno events, raves, and currently trying to learn the guitar (emphasis on trying).
**A little about our home:**
This is a queer-friendly and inclusive home where respectful and open-minded people are always welcome. Racist, sexist, or homophobic behavior won't be tolerated, though a good Eastern European sense of humor is definitely appreciated. ✨
I’m looking for a roommate who values a reasonably clean living space, shares chores fairly, and is up for the occasional hangout, conversation, or cooking session.
I'll be busy with my master's thesis quite a lot, but I'll definitely make time to chill!
With my previous roommate, we'd established a really cozy atmosphere. We both enjoyed spending time in our own rooms, but also appreciated good conversations, helping each other out, and compromising when necessary.
I don't expect the house to be spotless 24/7. Life happens, and being a bit messy during exam season is completely understandable as long as we communicate about it. The same goes for music and noise. I don't mind either, but there might be times when we'd need quieter evenings (exam weeks, early work mornings, etc.). And of course, that goes both ways!
**Good communication, directness, honesty, and mutual respect are what matter most to me.**
At the end of the day, this will be our home, so I'd love for us both to feel comfortable, respected, and able to be ourselves.
**A couple of final notes:**
I really appreciate authenticity, so feel free to be yourself when introducing yourself! You don't need to worry about finding the perfect words. Genuine inclusivity is reflected much more in how we treat each other than in the occasional awkward phrase or honest mistake.
And to everyone who doesn't get picked: good luck with your studies and your housing search! I know how tough finding a room can be, especially in Rotterdam, so please don't give up.
Looking forward to meeting you!
