Wij zijn op zoek naar een nieuwe huisgenoot voor ons gezellige en levendige huis in Rotterdam! We wonen met z’n vieren: twee studenten van 23 en 24 jaar en twee oudere Caribische heren. Zij koken regelmatig en hebben vaak mensen over, waardoor het huis meestal gezellig en levendig is.
Ik studeer Management of International Social Challenges (MISOC) en ben actief bij B&R Beurs, RSVB Boxing en Cedo Nulli. Mijn andere student-huisgenoot doet een Master in Economie. Eén van ons is DJ en we houden allebei van uitgaan. We hebben allemaal ons eigen leven en doen niet standaard alles samen, maar de studenten zijn zeker down voor spontane plannen, een drankje, uitgaan of gewoon gezelligheid.
Het huis leeft dus lekker en het is er nooit saai! Er komen regelmatig mensen gezellig langs. We vinden het ook prima als je zelf vrienden uitnodigt of een feestje geeft, zolang er niks wordt gesloopt en iedereen een beetje rekening met elkaar houdt.
We delen vooral de keuken. Het is dus een casual huishouden waarbij je soms de vloer dweilt, de keuken opruimt of gewoon gebruikmaakt van elkaars keukenspullen. Als je heel erg op jezelf bent, is dit misschien minder ideaal.
De locatie is erg handig voor studenten en je bent makkelijk bij de universiteit en de rest van Rotterdam. Kortom: een relaxed huis met veel vrijheid, maar ook regelmatig gezelligheid. ��

We’re looking for a new housemate for our friendly and lively home in Rotterdam! There are currently four of us: two students aged 23 and 24, and two older Caribbean gentlemen. They often cook and regularly have people over, so the house tends to be lively and social.
I study Management of International Social Challenges (MISOC) and am active at B&R Beurs, RSVB Boxing and Cedo Nulli. My other student housemate is doing a Master’s in Economics. One of us is a DJ and we both enjoy going out. Everyone has their own life and schedule, so we don’t necessarily do everything together, but the students are definitely down for spontaneous plans, drinks, going out or just hanging out.
This is a ideal house if you like conviviality and people coming over. We’re also totally fine with you having friends over or throwing a party yourself, as long as nothing gets destroyed and everyone is respectful.
We mainly share the kitchen. It’s a casual household where one person might mop the floor, another cleans the kitchen, and we’re generally comfortable sharing kitchen utensils. If you’re very much a person who prefers to keep completely to yourself, this might not be the best fit.
The location is very convenient for students, with easy access to university and the rest of Rotterdam. Overall, it’s a relaxed home with lots of freedom, but also plenty of gezelligheid. ��
