Through Stadswonen Rotterdam, you can rent various types of rooms in Rotterdam’s nicest neighbourhoods. Our broad selection means we’ve always got something to suit your needs and your situation. Our residential buildings are right where student’s love to live: in and around the centre and close to colleges and public transport.
Register as soon as possible, so you immediately start to build up waiting time. Homes that become available are allocated to applicants with the longest waiting time. You can register via the online form for a one-off € 25 administration fee. Read more about registration.

Stadswonen Rotterdam has rooms to rent from €325 per month. Almost all our rooms qualify for housing subsidy, so you can save money each month. Of course, there are other things to pay for besides the rent. We’ve created a handy list of these living costs so you can work out your budget.
When a room or apartment becomes available to a new tenant, the existing residents can interview the applicants to decide who they would like to live with. They are forwarded the applications from the fifteen candidates with the longest waiting times. From these, they select a few to interview. Read more about tenant interviews.
