Dear everyone looking for a room,
I'm Etienne (23), born and raised in Spain and currently a medical student awaiting to start the residency (coschappen). I like to spend my free time doing sports, mainly judo, BJJ and strength training; reading books on philosophy, social sciences and history and learning/improving foreign languages. Currently, I speak Spanish, English and Dutch to -I like to think- a good level, and I also have (a humble) understanding of French and Portuguese.
The apartment is in a very central location and has just two bedrooms, meaning you would only be sharing the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet with me.
For me, it’s quite important to keep the common spaces clean and tidy and to be mindful of noise, especially at night and in the early morning. At the same time, I enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at home. I’m always happy to have a spontaneous chat, share a drink or dinner, or get into a good political or philosophical discussion. That said, there’s no pressure to be social—I also really value having our own space and doing our own thing.
All in all, I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys a tidy, calm home and is at a similar stage of life—ideally nearing the end of their studies or doing an internship, so that our schedules are somewhat aligned.
