Registering

Are you between 17 and 35 years old? And are you planning to live by yourself? Register now! The longer you’ve been registered the better your chances of quickly finding rental accommodation.

As soon as you register with us, make sure you’ve got all the papers you’ll need. Because once you’ve found your perfect home, you’ll have to prove you’re eligible before the contract can be signed.

Responding and allocation

So you found your dream home? In that case, log in and respond to the advert for the unit. In some cases there is a selection by ballot. In other cases, the unit is allocated directly by Stadswonen Rotterdam.

Meeting the residents and viewings

When you are required to meet the existing residents in the complex, they’ll choose the candidate with the best fit. If there candidate is not select by ballot you’re welcome to view the accomocation.

Maximum income requirement

As a corporation, we are legally required to allocate our accomodations to households with a maximum annual income. Therefore you need to prove what your income is.

Signing the tenancy agreement

Once you’ve agreed to rent a particular unit, we will invite you to our office to sign the rental agreement.

You can arrange all your housing-related matters online via 'mijn Stadswonen'. Do you intend to move to a different unit? Be sure to renew your registration, so that you can building up a new registration period.
