From analog to digital tv
Ziggo is the provider of collective TV services for Stadswonen Rotterdam. As from the 19th of September 2018, Ziggo will stop broadcasting the analog tv-signal, and only broadcast the digital signal.
However, not all of Stadswonen Rotterdam’s buildings are capable of receiving digital tv-signal yet. Therefore, over the coming month Ziggo will be performing maintenance to make sure everyone can receive the digital signal.

Why is Ziggo cutting analog TV?
In the old days, we watched black and white television and searched for the best reception with our antennas. After analog TV came digital TV. Ziggo too is continuing to renew, and will therefore cut the analog signal in favor of the digital one. By doing this, we are ready for the future.
Can I still watch TV after September 18?
Stadswonen Rotterdam and Ziggo aim to ensure TV reception for everyone, now and after September 18.
My TV has a DVB-C tuner, so is capable of receiving the digital TV signal. Do I need anything else?
Ziggo broadcasts the standard package of stations without encryption. This means you don’t need a mediabox or CI+ module.
My TV is not capable of receiving the digital TV signal. What should I do?
Ziggo loans out separate digital tuners for these cases. More information on this will follow soon.
