Westersingel building

Student residences with outside space are always in demand, especially when they are right in the centre. The accommodations on the Westersingel side each have their own balcony. On the park side, the balconies are adjoined to the shared kitchens. There’s also a large, communal roof terrace with wonderful views of the city. Being just around the corner from Witte de Withstraat, there’s always something to do. You’ll be living close to Rotterdam’s major museums and the various college and university buildings are within cycling distance.

Rooms, studios and an apartment for students

In this student residence there are 63 rooms (average 20m²) with private bathroom and toilet. Only the kitchen is shared. That’s a real student luxury! There are also 36 studios (average 23m²) and one apartment (approx. 32m²), will all facilities private. The Westersingel residential building has a residents’ committee.

Living in the centre

Westersingel is right behind Museumpark, where the Kunsthal, the Natural History Museum and The New Institute can be found. The convivial Veerhaven in the Scheepvaartkwartier is just next door and Witte de Withstraat and Nieuwe Binnenweg are also really close by. In short, there are numerous hotspots within walking distance. Popular student hangouts such as the Witte Aap, Rotown and Stalles are so close you’ll be the first to get home after an evening out. Several tram and metro routes run through the Eendrachtsplein and Leuvehaven stops and you can easily get to Erasmus University and all colleges by bike.
