Your home is roughly a ten-minute bike ride from the centre. But if the weather’s bad and you don’t feel like cycling, you can always catch the tram from the Oostzeedijk stop, which is a one-minute walk away.

Living in Kralingen

Kralingen-Oost is a beautiful neighbourhood with pre-war houses and wide streets. In summer you can find yourself a spot on the grass in Kralingse Bos to read, or visit a festival there. Around the corner from your home you’ve got Oostzeedijk, which is packed with eateries and well-known bars, such as Locus Publicus. If you previously studied in Rotterdam, you’ll already know where to find them all! Lusthofstraat is a nice place to go shopping. Or if you’re looking for a wider selection of shops, restaurants and culture, you won’t have to go far to find it on Oudedijk, Hoogstraat and in the Industriegebouw.
