Oude Westen is a lively neighbourhood in the centre of Rotterdam, boasting numerous eateries, bars and terraces as well as plenty of art and culture. The KINO cinema is within walking distance, as are the Pathé and De Doelen on Schouwburgplein. In summer, you’ll find festivals hosted in Wijkpark. Day-to-day, you’ll be able to pick up your groceries from the many shops or the supermarket on West-Kruiskade. The university and college buildings are within cycling distance. If you’re studying at Erasmus MC or one of the establishments close to it, you’ll be able to cycle to lectures in just three minutes. It doesn’t get much more convenient than this!
