’t Wijnhuys building

‘t Wijnhuys is to be found on the corner between Scheepmakershaven and Wijnbrugstraat. This residential building gives students the opportunity to rent rooms and studios in the centre of Rotterdam. In summer, you and your fellow residents can go up to the communal roof terrace, where a beautiful view over Scheepmakershaven awaits. When you’re this central, you’re never far from the best hotspots. The university and college buildings are also easy to get to.

The rooms in 't Wijnhuys are an average size of 21m². With these, you’ll share a kitchen, bathroom and toilet with several other residents. The studios measure an average 29m² and each includes a completely private kitchen, bathroom and toilet. 't Wijnhuys has 33 rooms and 15 studios. There’s an active residents’ committee.

Living in Rotterdam-Centrum

How would you like to live just around the corner from the Markthal, the weekly market on Binnenrotte and the terraces of the Oude Haven? From ’t Wijnhuys, you can get to Blaak (train) station in no time. If you cycle in the other direction, you'll be in Witte de Withstraat before you know it, where you can get drinks, snacks and the best kebabs. The shopping streets are also nearby, with Hoogstraat and Koopgoot just a few minutes’ walk away. The colleges and Erasmus University can be easily reached by bike and the Willem de Kooning Academy is even within walking distance.
