Living on lively Kruisplein, you’ll be a stone's throw from Centraal Station, right opposite the Doelen and practically next door to the cinema on Schouwburgplein. The famous West-Kruiskade is just around the corner and Nieuwe Binnenweg isn’t far to get to. If you prefer to socialise at home, you can always chill with your fellow residents on the communal roof terrace. You won’t have a chance to get bored if you spend your student days here!

Spacious student rooms and apartments

There are both rooms and apartments available for students to rent in Kruisplein II. The 29 rooms, which are an average 30m², involve sharing a kitchen, bathroom and toilet with one or more other residents. The 24 apartments are an average size of 60m². In these, you get all the facilities to yourself. There is an active residents’ committee.

Right in the city centre

Kruisplein is on the border between Oude Westen and Cool, in Rotterdam city centre. You’ll find countless eateries and bars around here, including many student favourites such as Stalles, Boudewijn and Rotown on Nieuwe Binnenweg. Film fans will get their fill of entertainment at the Pathé cinema on Schouwburgplein or KINO film house in Gouvernestraat. The Kunsthal and other museums are a ten-minute walk away. If you cycle under Centraal station it will take you no time at all to get to Rotterdam-Noord, where you’ll find Diergaarde Blijdorp (Rotterdam Zoo) and Vroesenpark. The university and college buildings are within cycling distance. If you prefer to travel by public transport, Centraal Station is just around the corner!
