De Scheg building

This small residential building is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Oude Noorden, actually on Rechter Rottekade (number 395-403). You’ll be close to the famous Hofbogen and within walking distance of Noordplein, Zwart Janstraat and Zwaanshals. With room for fifteen students, it’s just like a large student house, but with several kitchens, bathrooms and toilets.

The fifteen rooms in De Scheg are on average 18m² and are spread over five floors. You’ll share a kitchen, bathroom and toilet with several other residents.

Living in Oude Noorden

Oude Noorden is a beautiful, characterful Rotterdam neighbourhood. Living here, you’re just a ten-minute walk from the centre, but you don't actually need to leave the area as it has plenty of hip eateries and coffee bars, and you only have to go as far as Zwart Janstraat or the Noordplein market for your groceries. The urban hotspots in the Hofbogen are only a few minutes away. Walk along one side of the striking Luchtsingel and relax on the other with a beer in Biergarten. The university and college buildings are within cycling distance and Rotterdam Central Station is not far from home.
