On this avenue full of historic buildings, you get to live in a stately home just around the corner from Heemraadssingel, where you are surrounded by greenery. This cosy building is split into accommodations for students and young workers. There are plenty of trendy eateries and cafes to go to in Delfshaven and Rotterdam Central Station is a five-minute bike ride away.
There are two rooms available for students to rent at Burgemeester Meineszlaan, each measuring approximately 13m2 with a kitchen, bathroom and toilet shared between the occupants of both rooms. If you are a young working person who’s already renting from us, you can move in to one of the four 57m2 apartments.
Burgemeester Meineszlaan in Nieuwe Westen certainly looks stately, but here you’ll still be living in a mixed, lively neighbourhood. Being just around the corner from the leafy Heemraadssingel and near to 1e Middellandstraat, which is full of shops, it will take a while before you get bored! Heading towards the centre you’ll come across West-Kruiskade, where there are loads of small shops where you can get your groceries. Nieuwe Binnenweg is also close to home, with its pleasant eateries, coffee bars and more bars than you’ll ever get round in an evening. Vroesenpark, where you can hang out on the grass or take in a festival, is less than ten minutes away by bike. And it’s only a five minute cycle ride to Erasmus MC and three Hogeschool Rotterdam locations.
