In Bredestraat, students can rent a room or studio right in the centre of Rotterdam, with amazing views over the city from one of the building’s two(!) roof terraces. You’ll be living close to Blaak and the impressive Markthal, just a stone's throw from the hip Pannekoekstraat and also close to Hoogstraat, which is packed with great little places.
Rooms in the Bredestraat residential building measure an average 21m2. You’ll share a kitchen, bathroom and toilet with one or more fellow residents. The studios, which are 30m2 on average, each have their own private kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Some of the accommodations have a private balcony. Bredestraat has 101 rooms and 12 studios. There’s an active residents’ committee.
Thanks to this building’s central location, you’ll be living near a whole load of hotspots. Just around the corner you’ll find the Markthal (and therefore also the ‘normal’ market), the central library and Blaak (train) station. You can grab a space on a terrace in the Oude Haven, which is ever-popular with students, go shopping in the Koopgoot or cycle to the Schieblock in a few minutes. The Erasmus University and college buildings are also within cycling distance.
