Problems with Stadswonen Portal

Why aren’t I seeing any advertisements for rooms, studios and apartments?

If you’re not seeing any offers or advertisements, this is often because you’ve got an adblocker / pop up blocker installed. If you get rid of this, you should be able to view and respond to the advertisements. If you are experiencing this problem even though you don’t have an active adblocker, check to see whether you’ve got the most up-to-date version of your browser. If not, install it.

Why can’t I log in to Stadswonen Portal (any more)?

You can log in to Stadswonen Portal with your email address or your customer number. If you’re unable to log in with your email address, try using your customer number as your username instead. If neither of these work, request a new password for the email address with which you registered. If you’re not sure which email you used, please contact us.

Note: It takes a short while for a new password to become active. Please wait for 15 minutes after receiving the email with your new password before trying to use it. If you try to log in too soon, the password will be blocked and you’ll have to apply for another one.

Why doesn’t my password work?

Have you requested a change of password but still can’t log in? Then it’s probably because you’re trying to use it too soon. You need to wait 15 minutes for a new password to become active. If you try to log in with it sooner, it will automatically be blocked.

Why can’t I respond to advertisements for accommodation?

Are you registered with and logged in to Stadswonen Portal? If so, check whether the details in your profile are correct. You can only respond to advertisements for accommodations that match your profile. So check carefully to see whether your profile information for your course, income and age are correct. If you change something, try again to see if it works. Still no luck? Then e-mail a screenshot of the page showing the error message.

Have you only just registered? It takes a little time for your registration to get processed and for you to be able to respond. You should receive an e-mail confirming your registration within fifteen minutes of making payment, and another with your Stadswonen Portal login details within 24 hours. When you’re logged in, you should be able to respond to accommodation advertisements.
